How it works
Homepages friends has been developed as a site for everyone to benefit from searching and shopping online with their own homepage. You don’t have to be an online expert to use the site as it has step by step instructions for you to set-up your account.
It’s absolutely FREE for you to be a member and we pay you a share of revenue from the site’s services you use. To start you simply click below to register your details with us and you can start earning straight away. What's more you can earn an additional 10% by recommending a friend to this site.
Sign in to your account and tell us how you want to be paid: either into your bank account or via PayPal. We pay you every 30 days, 45 days after each month end. e.g. For searches in January we pay you in mid March. There is a £20 minimum payment, so if you have not reached this amount in any month we will hold the payment over to the next month.
How much money received clearly depends upon how much you use the service for your typical day to day Internet searches. Based upon our experience to date we estimate that the average user regularly searching the internet could readily raise in excess of £50 per year.
If you want to see how you can really start to earn for yourself by referring your friends and family.It's important that you don't post unsolicited emails or web advertisements; if we get complaints we may have to disallow searches and/or terminate your account. Remember it's all completely free all you need to do is sign up, start searching and tell your friends!
How Much Can I Earn? Homepages Friends is a great way for you to earn funds from your own internet searching! You can earn even more if you tell your friends and they raise funds in the same way.
For example, if you refer just 10 friends to use a search box for themselves, they will earn funds from their searches as you do from yours. We share the funds raised 50/50 with you and your friends. What is great is we will pay you some of our 50% from your friends searches in return for you referring them to us! You can refer as many friends, family or colleagues as you want!
It gets even better! As you can imagine, your friends will want to refer their friends, so can you benefit from that? Yes! We will reward you, as in the chart, for three 'levels' of friends. The same will apply to your friends. Everyone wins! Remember, the funds you earn from your friends searches do not come from yours or your friends 50%, but from our 50% in reward for your referrals.
What are the guidelines for searching? The intention is for our customers to search just as they would normally, and if this approach is followed it is highly unlikely that your searches will be contrary to our terms and conditions. Here are our guidelines:
- Search with the intention of using the search results, not necessarily every time as we understand the need to refine search terms, but we assume an intention to look at the results is motivating the search.
- Repetitive search terms and frequency of search. We take no interest in, or view on, individual search terms but our filters will exclude high volumes of the same search terms or unusually high frequency.
- Please do not use the search box simply to connect to known web addresses, we cannot make payment for this type of use. In any case, we now offer a Bookmark section on your homepage as part of our service where you can enter your own links for regular use.
- So please do not search, for example, for BBC, Facebook, Youtube or our own myhpf site as these are bookmarked links available under the Featured Links of your homepage.
- If you use the box to access competitive services of our search engine partner such as Gmail, Google and Ask, then again we cannot pay for these searches.
- At all times we will enforce the terms and conditions of our search partner Yahoo! and will exclude search activity that Yahoo! regard as inappropriate.
We have sophisticated systems for tracking and identifying search patterns that allow us to disallow searches where necessary (which is why you may occasionally see particular searches not registering on your summary the following day) but if you follow these guidelines and search as you would normally everything will work well.
